German car makers are in the habit of making their cars based on diesel engine. But the latest demand of the Hybrid cars has made every car maker to improvise to environment friendly engines. Here is a new hybrid car from the factories of the car giants BMW. The 3 series Hybrid or the BMW active hybrid 3 is one of the latest inventions of BMW. This car is made for the people who love buying the cars in a gas and electric motor combination. This hybrid car is in from the famous 3 series of BMW. Adopted from the style of this series, the car promised to deliver a lot. As the expectations were it did deliver but only a bit.
An inline six turbocharged engine creates a good amount of torque for the car to drive. The car can go from 0-60 mph in just 5.2 seconds. This is surely the best acceleration when compared to other hybrid models available in the market. The car along with its power also is efficient when it comes to fuel saving. On highways it gives a mileage of 33 mpg and in city it gives a grand 25 mpg. This is quite a good fuel economy car. The redefined design of the car makes the series 3 car a good looking car. The car when running on full hybrid mode can run 2.5 miles in the speed of 44mph. The car also comes up with an optional navigation system. If you have selected it then while setting up the destination the car calculates the topology and saves your fuel by converting into electric motor.
With such good features come many grievances. Braking system of the car is not that brilliant like the other models of BMW. The electric motor and gas motor conversion is not that smooth and can sometimes shock you. The car is costly when compared to other models and the features it has to offer. You can buy this car as the BMW gives you a good hybrid engine and a stylish look will surely make you enjoy the drive.
BMW 3 series is one of the benchmarks in coupe model since a long period of time. Audi A5 was launched in 2008 and from that time period it has faced a good competition from the BMW 3 series. Since its launch, the car has been updated on a regular basis so as to compete with its rival. The latest development done in this model is quite identical and no doubt makes the car one of the finest in the present market.
The latest Audi A5 is an all four wheel drive. The company has kept its focus on the looks and luxury of their customers. The car company has uplifted the exterior and now the headlights have become more edgier and the trademark LED lights of the Audi is displayed in this model too. These slight changes have not only affected the looks but the company has made sure that the car is even more fuel efficient. The facial uplift in the latest version of the car is done making sure that the previous look of the car is kept intact. This gives the car a sporty look.
In the interiors the car, it has gone through very little changes. You can find the car to be spacious and comfortable while travelling. Safety wise there are a bagful of features that are added up in the car. This ensures that you are safe while travelling in an A5. While going with the performance of the latest A5, you will find a powerful engine giving you more power and speed. The car gives you a good amount of features; the Google earth map and street view give you a great navigation experience. This car is totally loaded and is ready to hit the market with a bang.
With many coupe lined up to take on the market in the next year, this car is surely to be a car to be competed against. It has all the features that surely hides its age and makes sure that people would not only love it not only for its looks and comfort but also for its performance. This is one of the contenders for the best cars this year.
The Lexus LFA is a two-seater supercar manufactured by Lexus. It is Lexus’ second model in its F-marquee line of high performance cars that are predecessors to the IS F line of performance vehicles. The super car was first introduced during the North American International Auto Show in 2005. A second model was introduced in 2007 with a third model, a roadster unveiled in 2009 at the Tokyo Motor Show.
With a planned production of 20 cars in a month, Lexus planned to produce only 500 units of the Lexus LFA. The car is available in 2-door coupe and 2-door roadster body styles. With a wheelbase of 102.6 inches, the car measures 177.4 inches and 74.6 inches in length and width respectively. Standing at a height of 48 inches, the car weighs between 1,480 kg and 1,580 kg.
The car uses a 72-degree bank angle 4.8 Liter V10 engine that delivers 560 horsepower at 8,700 rpm with a maximum torque of 480 N-m. Although the engine is set to redline at 9,000 rpm, the actual fuel cut off is set at 9,500 rpm. The engine is constructed using forged aluminum and titanium pistons and rods respectively. The setting of the engine’s angle at 72-degrees instead of the traditional angle of 90-degrees gives the engine pistons the ability to fire uniformly, which has greatly improved the car’s engine efficiency.
The car is fitted with a 6-speed automated sequential gearbox that gives a driver several options; wet, sport, auto and normal. Like in other Lexus vehicles, Lexus LFA has smooth transition on its gears. The car also has an offset gear mounted on the crank, the first of its kind. This sends power to the transmission via a torque tube.
The car’s interior is unique in its own way. Carbon fiber, leather and metallic surfaces have been used in designing its interior. Apart from bucket seats, Lexus’ Remote Touch controller interface is also available. It also features a TFT display that shows digits in different modes; small digits in automatic, large and bold digits in normal, inverted colors/stark digits in sport modes.
The pinnacle of Fiat Empire, Ferrari has traditionally produced some of the best sports cars one can find. Founded by Enzo Ferrari way back in 1929, Ferrari Company started by building race cars before it embarked on manufacturing road cars. The manufacture of road cars was particularly not for any other need but to sustain its motorsport activities. The first road car, the V12 powered 125 S was actually built and launched in 1947.
Although Ferrari is renowned for its Formula 1 racing, it is usually in such racing for varied purposes with one being that it uses the races as a testing ground for its latest technologies that are then transferred to road cars. This strategy has enabled Ferrari to produce such cars as F40, F50 and Enzo. It is not only latest models of Ferrari prices that are on the higher side, Ferrari’s classic cars also continue to be sold at very high prices at car auctions.
Ferrari prices for 2012 models are therefore no exception. The five main 2012 models retails at high varied prices. Selling at around US$229,825 is Ferrari 458 Italia, a 2-door, 2-passenger sports car available in coupe style only. The car is available with a standard 4.5 Liter V8 engine with 570 horsepower. It also comes with a 7-speed manual transmission system.
Retailing at around US$257,000 is the 2012 Ferrari 458 Spider, a 2-door, 2-passenger sports car available as convertible only. It is available with standard 4.5 Liter V8 engine with 570 horsepower. Like the 458 Italia model, it comes with a 7-speed manual transmission system.
The 2012 Ferrari California is a 2-door, 4-passenger luxurious convertible model that retails at around US$235,000 is powered by a standard 4.5 Liter V8 engine with a 453 horsepower. It also comes with a 7-speed manual transmission system.
Retailing at around US$295,000 is the 2012 Ferrari FF luxury sports car. This is a 2-door, 4-passenger car that is available in coupe style only. The car is available with a 6.3 Liter V12 engine with a 651 horsepower. Like the other models, it is available with a 7-speed manual transmission system.
Diesel pickup trucks are renowned for their legendary strength and rugged construction. Although diesel trucks offer great service to the owner, there are quality aftermarket upgrades available than can make the truck an even better performer. Here some of the top performance upgrades for a diesel pickup truck.
Performance exhaust system
The stock exhaust system severely limits the potential power output of a diesel truck engine. Due to the restrictive design of the stock exhaust system, the exhaust gases are unable to be expelled as efficiently. The free-flowing construction of a performance exhaust system will allow the diesel engine to produce a substantial increase in horsepower and torque.
Cold air intake system
Cold air intake systems offer an enhanced throttle response and a boost in overall power. Unlike the stock air box, a cold air intake system is able to inhale massive amounts of air with no restrictions. The improvement in power will certainly come in handy when hauling hefty loads. Xtreme Diesel Power has some examples of a quality cold air intake system.
Most diesel trucks are calibrated from the factory to deliver a certain amount of power. Not only does the truck’s computer control the fuel delivery of the engine, it also controls the shift points of the transmission. A performance programmer will enable the driver to adjust the various performance parameters of the truck. The best part is that no mechanical modifications are needed to complete the process.
Car technology is moving on faster than ever before as cars become more intelligent, safer and easier to drive. Here is a look at five innovations set to redefine our experience of driving forever.
In some ways, this is already with us in the form of anti-lock brakes and traction and stability control.
However, in the coming years driverless technologies will become significantly more advanced. For example, pre-safe systems are now becoming more commonplace — the vehicle anticipates accidents and prepares accordingly.
Adaptive cruise control keeps a car a safe distance away from the car in front, altering its velocity as necessary. In the next decade or so we should expect to see vehicles that are able to park themselves. Ultimately, it is feasible that cars that do the majority of driving themselves will become standard.
The interior is one of the most fast-moving areas of car innovation. Features such as voice-control will be supplied as standard within the next few years, particularly as we become increasingly more concerned with the dangers of distracted driving.
We can also expect to find digital control pads situated on headrests that will be used to control functions of vehicle such as reconfiguring the seats, controlling the climate and generally improving the experience of driving.
Electric and Hybrid Vehicles
Most hybrid and electric cars are priced too high for most of our budgets. However, given our urgent need to reduce carbon dioxide emissions and the continued depletion of our oil stocks, the vehicle maker that produces the first affordable and practical hybrid or EV will certainly make a fortune.
Research has found that, in general, people aren’t actually hostile to the concept of electric vehicles but are put off because the associated savings do not make up for the high initial outlay. In the near future we can expect the range of these vehicles, which is much too low at the moment for the needs of most drivers, to increase significantly.
We will also see an explosion in the alternative technology market as innovations such as hydrogen cells reach the domestic market.
A Kinetic Energy Recovery System (KERS) is a standard feature of F1 cars and is now beginning to reach the consumer market. KERS is a simple but effective technology that recovers some of the car’s kinetic energy whilst it is under braking. The recovered energy is stored using a flywheel or battery and can be used later when acceleration is needed.
KERS may be used to save fuel and increases a car’s efficiency or be used to increase the vehicle’s performance.
At the moment, KERS systems tend to be relatively weighty but as the technology moves on over the next few years, its weight should come down, which will mean it is a much more valuable addition to cars in the next few years, such as the future cars being developed by Mercedes.
You can find more information on KERS on the F1 website.
Parking sensors are quite common these days but the current technology can be a little hit and miss. Cars of the future will have 360-degree sensors which are completely reliable.
Reliable sensors are also required for use with driverless innovations such as pre-safe systems and adaptive cruise control.
Now that you’ve invested in a truck you should want to do everything that you can to protect your new purchase. When you want to keep your cargo safe and secure and the bed of your truck safe from the elements that attack it on a daily basis, you should consider purchasing a hardtop for your truck. The benefits will pay for themselves quickly and you’ll come to realise that you needed this accessory all along. Let’s look at some of the benefits of a hardtop for your truck.
Taking your Pegasus Navara Canopy onto the open road can be a wonderful way to take sporting equipment to nearby trails for adventures
1. A hardtop adds value to your truck. This accessory will keep rust from developing in the work area of your truck. When you think about resale value in years to come, not having rust or damage from the weather will keep the value of your truck higher than usual.
2. You’ll have a variety of styles and colours from which to choose. It’s important that you pick a hardtop that has been constructed with the specifications that match your vehicle. You don’t want rain and snow seeping into the bed area where you may have valuable cargo stored. This particular accessory can give you outstanding returns on your investment as you protect your cargo from damage and theft that can happen in an open truck bed.
3. Your truck bed will be protected from the harshness of the elements if you have a hardtop in place. You may not know it but the harmful UV rays of the sun can weather your paint and cause it to weaken. Bird droppings are very damaging to paint as is snow, ice, and hail. With a premium hardtop on your truck, you’ll prevent any of these elements from damaging your investment.
4. Your cargo will be safe from theft. You have probably bought your truck because you had a great deal of hauling to do, and when you can lock up your cargo it’s going to be safe from theft and damage. You’ll be able to lock expensive tools and costly materials so that thieves won’t be able to steal what you have. This deterrent will keep them from grabbing your cargo and disappearing from the authorities in a short amount of time. If a thief has to take longer than he thinks is necessary to steal an item, he’ll move on to an easier target.
Transporting your cargo in your Navara Hardtop should be a safe and easy task no matter what the weather. Be sure to have the professionals install your hardtop so that you’ll have a warranty to cover any problems that occur with its performance. You should do your research, choose the model that you like and that matches your truck, and enjoy moving your cargo in a safe and secure manner.
If you’ve been looking for a car in South Africa recently, you may have encountered a lack of choice. The supply of new cars in South Africa was disrupted over the month of September due to a strike by car workers. The workers were asking for wage increases and additional allowances and only recently ended their action upon agreement with car makers including Ford, Volkswagen, and Toyota. The amount of choice in new cars is now expected to increase to previous levels, so the only thing stopping you is the cost. New cars, of course, don’t come cheap. If you’re discouraged by the prices of new cars but you still need an auto to get around the city or the country, consider buying a used car. Here are eight things to consider when buying a used car in South Africa.
Pick up the keys to a used car at cars.co.za
1: Calculate your budget. Set a limit on how much you can spend on a used car, taking care to include the cost of such items as license and registration, and insurance.
2: Check the car over for any signs of accident damage or any structural faults. You should also look for any parts that seem new compared to the general condition of the car – this would indicate that they have been replaced recently.
3: Make sure the oil is clean and that the battery is not corroded.
Driving the car
4: Start the engine. You’ll hear some noise while the car is starting up but this should die down once the engine has been running for some minutes. The sound of the engine should be a soft hum, and the water light and oil lights should only stay on for a few seconds.
5: Take the car for a test drive yourself, if you can. This should be possible if the dealer has insurance for you to drive the auto. Give the car a good run by driving along city roads and also trying the brakes and the car’s ability to make tight turns. Drive the car for at least 10km, and at different speeds.
Documentation, registration and mileage
6: Ask the owner, or dealer, to show you the car’s service book, and also the repair history if there is one. You can also check invoices and receipts for the car repairs.
7: Take a look at the odometer. The numbers should be the same as the figures written in the service book, and they should also be straight – crooked numbers can indicate that the dial has been tampered with. If you have concerns, check with a reputable car dealer.
8: Ask if the seller will allow you to have the vehicle checked by a mechanic of your choosing. If you get this done, you should speak to the seller and discount the cost of any repairs needed from the final bill. Bear in mind that you need to agree this with the seller – there is no guarantee they will agree to the discounted price.
Finally, buy your car from a trusted and reputable dealer – you can find dealers online for example at cars.co.za. If the car seems like a good deal and it checks out, look forward to hitting the open road once you’ve paid the bill.
One of the reasons why a BMW is a good choice of car is thanks to the minimum maintenance that is required. However, there are important steps you do need to take if you want to ensure that you keep the car performing dynamically. The other reason why you do need to do some maintenance is to protect the warranty of your vehicle and ensure you are able to achieve a great selling price when it comes time to sell up and treat yourself to a newer model. Here are some of the essential areas of maintenance you can’t ignore.

The Air Conditioning
The air conditioning must be kept in great condition to maintain suitable temperature control for you the driver and your passengers. BMW air conditioners are able to filter out the pollen and dust, perfect for those who suffer with allergies. They are also designed to reduce the levels of condensation inside the car. Using the air conditioning continuously is actually a good thing as it helps the system to work efficiently, but without maintenance the system can lose efficiency.
Use the Air Conditioning
You should use the air conditioning as it will help to prevent mould and mildew from building up inside the filter. The seals will also be able to stay in good conditioning, reducing the chances of them from becoming brittle and resulting in the leakage of refrigerant. Avoiding musty smells and ensuring efficiency you will need to maintain the micro filters regularly and the refrigerant gas needs to be checked and replaced when necessary.
You can maintain your air conditioning by having the system refreshed. This is required if you begin to notice musty smells when you first turn on the engine or when you change the temperature settings. You can also recharge it which will help the air conditioning system to be able to reach the desired temperature quicker or if the temperature is unable to be reached at all.
You will need to give your vehicle an annual check-up and an annual MOT is required for all BMWs that are over three years old. During the MOT your car will have more than 150 checks that are related to the emissions and safety features such as your lights, suspension and brakes. These checks are often a time of worry for most car owners, but BMW standards are high and so long as you stay on top of the maintenance of your car the MOT should actually just be a formality.
Find a trusted BMW dealer who is able to provide you with BMW servicing using genuine parts and the required technology, click here and find a servicing expert who will help you to maintain your car. It isn’t worth using anyone else as you could find yourself with inferior parts that will actually harm the performance of your vehicle and damage the resale value of your vehicle. It is always a good idea to find a company that will provide you with an excellent service and price to keep your BMW running as it should for the years to come.
City living has some fantastic advantages because there is so much happening right on your doorstep. Shops, theatres, bars and nightclubs are all within reach and transport links are readily available. But not everyone who lives in the city is happy to always use public transport. Many people prefer the freedom and accessibility of their own car so they can go wherever they want at whatever time they feel like doing so. Cities are very crowded, though, which means that parking and driving can be a bit of a nightmare. This has led to the rise of the city car – a raft of small vehicles designed for short runs, easy parking and, well, city living.
Downsizing to a city car is all about reducing running costs and driving a more suitable vehicle, but that doesn’t mean you have to reject comfort and style. City cars are all about funky style and they are surprisingly more ‘macho’ than they used to be. The Mini may be the first thought for some people, but don’t dismiss the Audi A1 or the Ford Ka – these can be unexpectedly roomy on the inside, with enough space to fit four adults.
City cars are by and large cheap to run and eco-branded and electric-engine models can be particularly frugal. Popular examples include the Vauxhall Corsa Ecoflex and the Seat Ibiza Ecomotive. Petrol bills may be low, but don’t presume that insurance for all city cars will also be cheap. Top-spec versions of the Mini are in a higher insurance group than most BMW 3 Series models. Also worth checking are the CO2 emissions, as the best city cars have very low or even zero emissions. This means that they incur no road tax and are exempt from the London congestion charge.
City cars are built for just that — city driving. Many come with just a 1.0L or 1.2L engine, making them great for short runs but not so good on the open road. Zipping around the city streets, stopping and starting through traffic and nipping down to the shops will be no challenge whatsoever, but they aren’t suitable for long journeys. The main driving fun when living in a city is being actually able to park somewhere easily and the diminutive dimensions of the Fiat 500 or Kia Picanto allow you to nip into spaces other people can’t fit. The biggest winner in the city car-parking category is the Mercedes Smart car, which can even park nose-in to a space.
Safe and Reliable
Safety features on city cars are usually pretty good. You may feel more vulnerable in a tiny vehicle but you can rest assured that side-impact bars and air bags will protect you. A Which? Car Survey has revealed that city cars tend to be more reliable than many larger cars, conceivably because they are fitted with fewer things to go wrong. As an added perk, parts and repairs may also be cheaper, particularly with some of the popular Japanese models.
It’s an arduous task, that of buying a used car. But if you’re like the majority of Americans, a brand new, fresh off the lot vehicle is not an option. They’re expensive and everyone knows they lose value as soon as you turn the key and drive off the lot. So we’re resigning to purchasing someone else’s cast off. Now, unless you have a grandparent or best friend’s dad getting rid of a car, you’re likely going to be purchasing from a stranger, or worse yet, a dealer. But don’t be scared: if you know what a dealer may say to you to con you, you won’t have to worry. Be on the look out for these use car salesman’s favorite mistruths.
1. This Baby Runs like a Dream
No dealer will ever tell you: it’s got some hiccups, but you can live with them. So therefore, every car runs like a dream, smooth like butter. How can that possibly be? Not all cars can run equally margarine-like! They tell you this so you get in the car and think, no matter how it drives, this is the standard to which all other cars will drive. So if it’s a bit bumpy, you’ll think: this is how the car is supposed to drive, for it is a dream. Go into a test drive objectively, or better yet, with someone who knows what he’s talking about!
2. It’s the Cheapest Price Out there for a Car Like This
If you take their word for it, you will no doubt think you’re getting a fantastic deal because “cheapest” means, well, just that, no one in the entire world is getting a better price on a car like this. But a little bit of homework can disprove that in a heart beat. For example, if you get a quote on a Nissan somewhere out there, you can simply head to the Fontana Nissan website (http://metronissanredlands.com) and find a comparable car and determine for yourself if it’s the cheapest or not. Oftentimes, you may find, it is not!
3. That’s Just Normal Wear and Tear
You’re getting a used car, so some wear and tear is certainly expected. Gives the car personality, after all, or at least that’s what we who are perpetually in the used car market tell ourselves. However, not all wear and tear is good. Look for rust spots: often small quarter-sized holes that can appear as chips of paint. But if there is rust, look underneath the car, perhaps it’s an East Coast car where there’s plentiful rain and salt on the roads. Don’t get a car that’s been on the East for its entire life.
4. I had Another Interested Party Who Just Left
No they didn’t. But how could you possibly prove that? Since you have no way of discerning fact or lie, of course he’s going to tell you that someone else just came in and loved the car. This makes you think not only that it’s a desirable car, but that you better act quick if you want it, lest that other anonymous soul drives off in this dream vehicle. The smart money says he used the same line on them (if they even exist) and they were able to walk away, meaning they didn’t really want it. If you hear this line, your red flag should rise to at least half mast.
5. Let’s Get Your Credit Check Started
Not quite a mistruth, but a pushy maneuver that salesman love. It seems harmless; there’s no obligation to buy, but if you do want a car, well, the annoying process of getting approved for a loan is out of the way. Don’t let them do it. First of all, it’s not good for your credit to get it pinged a lot, and also it demonstrates a sense of desperation on the dealer’s part. And when a dealer is desperate, he will say most anything to get you to fork over the dough. For example, see one through four above! Also, if possible, you should never get a loan through the car dealer directly. You will get the worst rates and the least reliable customer service.
Used car purchasing is always a risk, albeit a necessary one. But if you have in your back pocket rebuttals to these common mistruths, you can be more confident in your buying experience. Good luck!
Proving once again that Ferrari’s V6 power engines are the most sought after in all of motorsport, the Marussia Motors team are going to be using these of Ferrari’s 1.6 litre engines for the upcoming F1 season. This exciting new partnership will also find Ferrari supplying Maurissa with a range of other technical features such as gear boxes.
This will effectively mean that the smallest and largest teams in F1 racing will be working together, a development that Marussia is understandably excited by.
Speaking about this historic collaboration, Marussia’s chief executive, Andy Webb, explained, “The importance of this development to our team cannot be overstated. Not only will we benefit from a customer supply from the most successful engine manufacturer in Formula One’s history, but this also provides further confirmation, if it were needed, of our commitment to the sport and determination to maintain our progression towards our long-term ambitions.”
The Moscow Company had been in talks about undergoing a merger with their rivals Caterham until this historic proposal from Ferrari. Marussia has been using Cosworth engines since they became part of F1 in 2010. Webb has acknowledged the outstanding history Marussia have had with Cosworth, saying “We have shared an important part of our team’s journey.”
This change comes after Marussia’s most successful season at Formula 1. But despite this increased success comes at the same time that Marussia’s consultant, Pat Symonds, leaves the business for the struggling Williams team to become the company’s new chief technical officer.
Ferrari will benefit from profit handsomely from this agreement too, as it gives the Italian giants a replacement customer team following the Scuderia Toro Rosso team’s announcement that they will be switching to using the powerful Renault engines of the Red Bull Racing squad .
With smaller company’s now choosing to embrace the Ferrari driving experience, this could be a whole new era of the Ferrari story beginning to unfold.
Although purchasing a new car can be exciting, many people rush into the decision of taking out a car loan too quickly and without considering the hidden costs that may accumulate. It is vitally important that you consider your finances carefully before signing a loan agreement as you may live to regret your decision if you are unable to make your monthly payments. Some countries like Nigeria prefer to buy second hand cars since a vehicle’s value decreases a great deal the first year after you buy it, so before buying yourself a new car consider buying a used one online. With this in mind, here are five important financial aspects that you must consider before taking out a car loan.
1) Costly car insurance
You will require extensive, if not full car insurance should your vehicle be involved in an accident or otherwise damaged. Before agreeing to go with a specific insurance company, it is important that you shop around first in order to get the best rates. This being said, there are a number of risk factors that remain outside of your control including your age, gender and driving history.
2) Monthly interest rates
When taking out a car loan, it is crucial that you understand that your monthly payment will continue to increase due to the monthly interest rate on your loan. Before making that purchase you will need to discuss these figures with your loan agent in order to be sure that you can afford to purchase a car. Consider that an applicant with a good credit score will pay a lower monthly interest rate and vice versa.
3) Annual interest rates
Car loans also have an annual interest rate which is not your APR. It is incredibly important that you ask your loan agent about these figures as you may find that you cannot afford the car and would simply fall behind on your payments. This hidden rate can dramatically affect the amount of money that you will have to spend on your vehicle annually.
4) Increasing fuel costs
It may seem obvious, but many people forget to factor fuel costs into their calculations when considering taking out a car loan. You will need to consider commute timings, type of fuel required, fuel mileage as well as fuel prices which are currently on the increase. If you cannot afford to drive your new car, it will be rendered useless rather quickly!
5) Repair and maintenance
Repair costs are unpredictable by nature and this may mean that if something were to go wrong with your vehicle you would have to dip into your savings in order to pay the bill. This, in turn, could mean defaulting on your loan. It is advisable that you set a little cash aside to pay for these unexpected events. Maintenance costs will include new tires, oil changes, tune ups etc.
By taking into consideration these five important aspects, you will ensure that you can pay for your new car by taking out a loan. Think carefully about your payment plan and do not make rash decisions. If you are ready to find the perfect car, you will be able to find a used ford focus for sale online as well as many more models.
We have got all heard people service announcements that inform us to wear our seatbelt. We’ve got also seen the twelve signs telling us that police are ‘cracking down’ on individuals who don’t. All around us, we hear and study messages about seatbelts. We’re told they save lives, plus they keep us safer even as we drive. So how effective is it? What are the hard details of seat belts? We probably all know someone who doesn’t feel that seatbelts keep us safer. Actually, there are some people that firmly maintain that seatbelts have been more dangerous… although it is important to comprehend that ALL in the statistics and relevant data say otherwise.
According to every reliable database, analyst, and association monitoring automobile issues of safety, it seems that seatbelts could possibly keep you even SAFER than you might have previously thought! Listed here are 4 seatbelt facts that all driver should know about. After hearing these facts and statistics, there shouldn’t be any doubt in your head that wearing your seat belt is always the most effective policy! In fact, car dealerships including Nissan Dealer in Temecula almost always have rules stating that salesman MUST wear seatbelts on test drives… partly due to how dangerous it can be to go that don’t have them, and partly since it is also illegal in almost every state!
Seatbelts Saved Over 75,000 Lives From 2004 to 2008
In accordance with NHTSA and their National Center for Statistics and Analysis, seatbelts did indeed save over 75,000 lives in this 5 year period. A lot of people don’t see the results of seatbelt use (or worse, seatbelt non-use) as they are not encountered with the dreadful reality of automobile accidents on a daily basis. Many people ‘see’ automobile accidents away and off to the side in the road from time to time, but they are not the ones responsible for investigating reasons behind death or injury when these accidents occur… and that’s why a LOT of people have a tendency to underestimate the effectiveness of the life-saving capabilities that seatbelts provide the casual, everyday driver.
Nearly 4,152 Lives Could have been Saved In 2008 ALONE Had Everyone Worn A Seatbelt!
In line with the same analysis, over 4,000 deaths might have been prevented had every unrestrained passenger (ages 5 and older) linked to a fatal crash in 2008 been wearing a seatbelt. This paints a really unpleasant, yet vivid picture of how many people DON’T wear seatbelts often.
